It's Official!!
Today we drove into Anchorage to put a deposit down on our NEW PUPPY!! She is an AKC Chocolate Lab and we are all so excited. After much deliberation and research, we decided to go with another Lab. We will get to bring her home on June 3rd, so we'll spend the meantime researching training techniques (it's been a little while, and these things are easily forgotten for me!), getting her toys and paraphernalia ready, and choosing a name. Anyone have any good one syllable girl dog names? Maybe there will be some left over Horsman girl names to choose from!! :-)

May I be the first to congratulate you on your newest family member. I am glad that my kids will also get to enjoy being around a puppy without me having to endure the process of "bringing one up" right now...someday. Miah really wants a pet and hopes to get one when we get settled again. She thinks about it all the time. We are all anxious to visit the Coke zoo :)
Hummmmm..... yeah not sure about a name but Ginger is the Horsman staple name don't forget, I have had ginger horses, dogs, cats and finsh so if you ask me it should be ginger!!! Have fun witht he puppy thing again, I am so glad we are over that phase. Love you guys and maybe we will be able to see you all in person one day soon. Wouldn't that be a change.
Ruth, yeah about Ginger, but guess what? That's the name of our neighbor's new dog!
