Girl Stuff

I have been so blessed with having a little girl. I am continually amazed at how different girls and boys are...from birth! Today Anna asked me if she could please have one of my many chapsticks ("lipgloss", she prefers to call it!) I love my little Anna Elise!

(This is the most recent picture of the two of us that I have...but look how little she is! Why do they have to grow up so quickly??)

Don't change the name Sarah. It's awesome!! Cool pictures by the way. Except just one thing. You didn't put ??? next to your age. Doesn't that need to be filled out? :)

Diddo on the girl stuff. I've been excited about you having a little feminine companion since I heard you were having a girl! It's the best. Question - When do you read? Do you have a certain time you set aside every day...I have about 3 books I've started but I'm not sure I'll ever finish any of them. Any advice?

I have to confess that at first I had no idea what you were talking about with the name controversy. It must be my purity of mind :) But I now know what you were gathering at...funny. I've always thought you had an unreasonable amount of energy...where DOES that come from...hummmm?

I love the girl stuff. But, I also have that boy stuff. I pulled out my purse mirror and noticed that it was still all slimy from some boy using it as a cell phone in the car! Hmmmmm...wonder who that was!

Lord of the Flies.....it has a lot of really good thoughts in here. But, it is a bit gruesome...I'll agree. Do you remember reading "The Giver"? This would be a book that Ryley might like in another year, and there are a lot of good themes in it, including why God allows us freedom and does not force us into everything, including letting life be dangerous rather than safe.....
