Ryley's Latest Book Report

(Typed by Ryley)

Buffalo Bill

by Edmund Collier.

This story took place in the 1860's wild west.

Bill was 7 when he and his family moved to Kansas. He shot a doe through the heart on his first shot!.Once he captured three Indians. They had lunch together and played untill supper.

Bill and Sam were herding cows. a cow went up a bluff and knocked a rock loose. BetseyBaker(Sam's horse)got scared and bucked three times. The horse came down on top of Sam and killed him.

My favorite part of the story was when Bill rode the Pony Express. I loved this book and I think everyone should read it.

Hey Ryley. GREAT book report. Did you also type your report on the blog? You read a book that I have not read. Way to go. What have you been reading in your Bible? I've been reading two things, the story of Creation in Genesis, and 1 Corinthians. We just finished butchering the deer (Nists'i) that Grandpa shot. Yummy meat!
Love you. Grandma H.

Wow Ryley - I love that you enjoy to read and are learning so much about History at the same time. I am teaching Miah to read and I can't wait until she can pick up a book and go on an adventure just like you have. We miss you all so much- If you wouldn't mind - would you go roll in the snow for me? I really miss it! Oh - and I LOVED the Mullet! Hee hee you looked so funny!
